Culbreth Wealth Management was founded in 2023, but it started back in 1968. Paul’s father, Al W. Culbreth, Jr., started his career as an insurance advisor with Mutual of New York (MONY) just before graduating from the Institute of Georgia Technology in the Spring of 1968. Over the years he built a very successful insurance practice. As his clients aged and the financial services industry evolved, so did he by attending executive education programs held at Harvard and Warton. He refocused his practice on retirement planning and wealth management serving his clients in a new way. He would go on to build a very successful wealth management practice. He cared deeply for his clients, their loved ones and their life savings that he managed.

In 2005 Paul Culbreth graduated from Georgia Southern with a bachelors in Business and a major in Finance, and joined his father in the family business. Paul learned at his father’s side, joined in on countless meetings and took in as much of his knowledge as possible from his many years of experience. Paul attended the same executive education programs along with his father for advanced learning and continued to grow the business by his side until he passed in 2014. As tough as the circumstances were losing a father, a mentor and a business partner, Paul succeeded his father, continued to serve their clients and grew the business to what it is today. Paul is grateful for everything that he learned from his father and continues to carry on his legacy today. Al would be delighted to know that his legacy carries on with Culbreth Wealth Management.
